First steps

You can get started with toggle by following these easy steps:

  1. Insert your toggle SIM card into your mobile and switch it on
  2. Top-up your toggle
  3. You can now make & receive calls and texts from your toggle SIM
  4. Register your SIM to manage your account online
Unlock your phone

Unlock your phone

If your SIM does not work when you first place it into your mobile, it may have a SIM lock. If you have been with your current provider for more than 1 year this lock may be removed for free, please contact your current provider directly to request the code which will allow you to remove your SIM lock. If you have had your handset for less than one year you should ask your handset provider how much it will cost to remove the SIM lock

Top-up your toggle

Top-up your toggle

You can buy toggle top-up vouchers online or from your local retailer nationwide. The voucher will show a PIN either printed on it or underneath a scratch panel.

  • Enter *131*PIN#, press send, or
  • Dial 321 from your toggle SIM and follow the instructions

Topping-up online is the most convenient way to top-up your toggle SIM.

  • Register your toggle SIM online
  • Top-up your mobile instantly online using a debit or credit card

To top-up your balance while you are abroad:

  • Dial +44 7438 646321 and follow the instructions

To check your balance using your toggle SIM in the UK, either:

Enter *131#, press send, and your balance will shown on your mobile phone screen or

Keep your number

Keep your number

To transfer your existing mobile number to toggle, simply contact your existing mobile service provider and ask for your PAC code. Once you have your PAC code, please contact toggle Customer Services who will activate the transfer for you.

Mobile Internet

With toggle you can easily access the mobile Internet and pick up your emails. To set up the mobile internet on your toggle, please call customer services on 322 and we will activate the service and download the data settings to your handset.

Your toggle voicemail service has been automatically activated. Using your toggle voicemail you can:

  • Listen to messages left for you
  • Record a personalised welcome message
  • Select your preferred language

To select the language to be used for your toggle voicemail and top-up service:

  • Select the 'Settings' menu
  • Select the 'Change Language' option
  • Select your preferred language
View your toggle number

View your toggle number

To view your toggle number on your mobile screen, simply dial *132# send.

Find my IMEI number

Find my IMEI number

To find your IMEI number, simply dial *#06# on your mobile phone. Your IMEI number will show on your phone screen. Alternatively you can turn off your mobile phone and remove the battery. The IMEI number is printed on a white sticker, usually found under the battery

  1. Check to make sure your SIM card is properly installed.
  2. Make sure you are getting a signal.
  3. Make sure you have credit in your account. Please keep in mind that a positive credit balance (minimum of £5 recommended) is required in your account at all times, even to receive inbound calls in free roaming countries.

How to get a Local Number?

How to get a Local Number?

  1. Login into your account.
  2. Choose "Togglemobile local" from the left menu.
  3. Register for the country you plan to visit to get a local number. Please allow 3 hours for the registration process to complete. (IMPORTANT: please make sure that before you register for a Local Toggle Number, your SIM card is inserted into the mobile phone and has network signal.)
  4. Credit card details will be taken only once when customer is requesting the local number for registration mandatory countries (France, Germany, Swiss, Spain, Australia, Norway)
  5. You will receive a text message with your Local Number and you can also see it on your account. Each number is valid for 30 days unless you want to keep it, you can do so by paying £5 per year per number. Please make sure you tick the box where it says "Keep my Local number for £5 per annum". The £5 fee will be deducted from your balance 30 days after you register for your local number.

The SIM Menu is an application which is available on the SIM. This is located in various places for different handsets, but is usually found in the Settings menu.

Go to Toggle Mobile Menu --> Toggle --> Select Mode --> Manual --> Select the country where you are.

  1. Australia Profile - profile should be selected when you are in the Australia to enjoy local rates.
  2. Denmark Profile - profile should be selected when you are in the Denmark to enjoy local rates.
  3. France Profile - profile should be selected when you are in the France to enjoy local rates.
  4. Germany Profile - profile should be selected when you are in the Germany to enjoy local rates.
  5. Norway Profile - profile should be selected when you are in the Norway to enjoy local rates.
  6. Spain Profile - profile should be selected when you are in the Spain to enjoy local rates.
  7. Sweden Profile - profile should be selected when you are in the Sweden to enjoy local rates.
  8. Switzerland Profile - profile should be selected when you are in the Switzerland to enjoy local rates.
  9. The Netherlands Profile - profile should be selected when you are in The Netherlands to enjoy local rates.
  10. Ireland Profile - profile should be selected when you are in The Netherlands to enjoy local rates.
  11. Poland Profile - profile should be selected when you are in The Netherlands to enjoy local rates.
  12. Roaming Profile – Should be selected in all other countries of the world.

Please note the default profile is the 'UK Profile'. On some handsets, after changing profiles, you may need to restart your phone to activate it.
